One Ness Factor 2024 contestant raised £1400 through a Ladies’ Day with a country twist.

Kerry Vigurs entered the singing competition to push herself out of her comfort zone, and quickly set about going to work on fundraising for Highland Hospice.

She had already arranged a family fun day at the Maryburgh pitches which featured face painting, inflatables and the Highland Ballers.

Her latest event, though, was the country night in Dingwall’s Legion, featuring live music, raffles, snacks and games – and of course gave attendees the chance to dress up in their best country attire.

Mrs Vigurs, who is married to former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County footballer Iain, was pleasantly surprised at how popular tickets were for the event.

Between the ticket prices for entry and the various activities, she raised £1400 to go towards both her chances of winning Ness Factor, and of course Highland Hospice.
