The end of an era comes on Saturday when Elephant Sessions will play in front of a sold out crowd, before the Ironworks closes its doors at 122b Academy Street for the final time.

Over the years since opening in 2006, the venue has played host to an impressive list of musicians who are known across the planet. Despite being a smaller venue it has been a favourite among fans and performers over the years and always creates an electric atmosphere when the best bands came to town.

Here is a trip down memory lane and a look through some of the biggest and best names who played the Ironworks over the years.

Today is Part 2 where we look back at some huge names who have wowed Invernessian audiences including Primal Scream, Johnny Marr and Bring me the Horizon.

Look back at part 1 here, and stay tuned for our final Ironworks flashback tomorrow.
