The newest charity shop was doing a brisk trade on its first day of trading.

Highland Hospice opened the doors of its latest outlet yesterday in the former Laura Ashley store in Falcon Square after relocating from Queensgate.

Shop manager Hannah Beresford said: "The whole team today are thrilled by the response to our new shop! We've been so busy just this afternoon we've been open and the customers really love the new space and the range of goods available. It's fantastic to be open and I look forward to welcoming people to browse and buy."
