Dancers as young as three and 90-year-old singers have highlighted the diverse and inclusive range of activities available at an Inverness community centre.
A total of 17 groups were represented at Merkinch Community Centre’s June Jamboree.
It also served as a celebration of a return of activities following a 60-week closure because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Performances included displays of Highland dancing and singing by a group of adults with learning disabilities.
They were interspersed with interviews with representatives of groups including knitting, archery, Tai Chi and the lunch club.
The centre’s development officer Elsie Normington said the June Jamboree had been an amazing night and had highlighted the inclusivity and diversity of Merkinch Community Centre.
"Everyone was so happy to be there and there was such excitement and joy," Mrs Normington said.
"The thing that really struck me was that it was so inter-generational."
Mrs Normington added: "There were three-year-olds taking part up to elderly people who were singing.
"It really was a fantastic night."
In May, members of Singing For Pleasure celebrated two decades of fun, friendship and fulfilment at the centre.
