After months of planning, the first Highland Gathering in the south Loch Ness area took place.

It was organised by the Stratherick and Foyers Community Trust, with the permission of Henry Fraser of the Corriegarth Estate.

Organiser Caroline Tucker said it was great to see everything come together to create a “fantastic community event”.

She added: “The day attracted many members of the community who got involved, either through volunteering, community group stands, taking part in the activities that were on offer or just coming along to enjoy the afternoon.”

Mr Fraser said: “Thank you to everyone who came and especially to those who volunteered their time and prizes for the raffle. I’m looking forward to working with the local community trust to make 2023 even better.”
