People gathered in Inverness in poignant tribute for murdered transgender teen Brianna Ghey.
The vigil in the city's Falcon Square was among dozens taking place across the UK.
Brianna (16) died after being found stabbed in a village park in Cheshire earlier this month.
A boy and girl, both aged 15, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court last week charged with her murder.

The Inverness vigil to mourn Brianna's death was supported by Highland Pride.
It included speeches and a moment of silence for people to remember Brianna.
Other memorials took place last week and over the weekend including one in Warrington.
Her family said they had been "overwhelmed" by the "support, positivity and compassion" they have received.
Highlands and Islands MSP Emma Roddick was unable to be at the vigil but posted a message of support on social media:
"So proud to see a good turnout in Inverness for Brianna and trans people everywhere," she said.
Stephen Doyle, of Highland Pride, said there has been a huge outpouring of grief across the country, with candlelit vigils spontaneously occurring in over 30 cities.
