Family audiences joined the Woodland Creatures for four postponed outdoors Inverness performances of Frozen Charlotte’s new show.

At Culloden Woods families with youngsters from two to eight got to connect with nature through live music, performers and puppets.

Artistic director Heather Fulton – who up to the pandemic was touring shows internationally, from China, Hong Kong and Singapore to Europe – said: "This is the first show we have done outdoors. We wanted to provide fun entertainment that felt safe for parents and children.

"All the costumes were made from recycled material, keeping down our carbon footprint."

All the 50-capacity shows in the tour of the Highlands and Moray were sold out.

The artistic director added: "We have done 24 shows on this tour, and I would love to bring it back to schools, nurseries and for the public every summer."
