The first EndoSpell Festival got off to a flying start near Tore last weekend – and organisers are already talking about doing it again after 150 people turned out in support.

The drive-in festival, with the audience in social bubbles, saw a high stage for those viewing from their pods.

Andrea Dalgetty, who was inspired to create the festival in her bid to set up a foundation to help fellow Endometriosis sufferers, said: “I need to keep this going. I’ve got the word out now and the support from everyone was really humbling and helped everything come together! For the first festival it was amazing and I don’t know how I’m going to thank everybody!”

Promoter Rob Ellen, normally host of Belladrum’s Potting Shed Stage, paid tribute to the spirit of the many young and old Potting Shed fans who turned out for EndoSpell including musicians, audience and behind-the-scenes crew and helpers. “It’s been extraordinary,” he said. “Highland community spirit has really shone through.”

His highlights included the debut of Calum Jones & The Boys and an impromptu set from Mena Taylor and Wild Horse Willie.
