PICTURES: Easter joy as Inverness hairdressers, garden centres and homeware shops reopen after a partial easing of lockdown restrictions

Hairdressers, barber shops, homeware outlets and garden centres have reopened in Inverness.

With Covid–19 restrictions easing today, our photographer Callum Mackay was out and about capturing the city as it partially reopened to customers.

Socially distanced queues appeared outside barber shops with people travelling from as far as Glen Urquhart to remove their lockdown locks.

Simpsons Garden Centre has reopened with shoppers able to enjoy one of its scones while picking up bedding plants for the garden.
