PICTURES: Almost 300 youngsters from TFX Performing Arts Academy wowed audiences at two packed shows on Saturday

The annual summer show is a chance for pupils to showcase their talents to family and friends.

Time to be Awesome took place earlier in the day with pupils from three to seven years old taking to the stage at Eden Court in Inverness.

In the evening, the older students had their turn with the show Come so Far.

For many, it was their first time performing, but the high-energy performances gave nothing away.

The evening kicked off with a fun group dance, then moved into a couple of classic numbers from hit musical Grease.

From group dances to solos, singing and acting, the talent of the kids shone through the most and had the crowd clapping and cheering all night.

A spokesman for TFX said: “Weren’t they brilliant? It’s been a long time planning and a lot of hard work but it couldn’t have gone any better! We are so lucky to have the teachers and the students that we do.”
