The venue, which has always been an inclusive bar in the city centre, kicked off the weekend with an Abba tribute band on Friday.

On Saturday they were joined by Jenna Ross, Victoria Sponge and drag queen Miss Scarlet Diamonte, who put on a brilliant show.

Things were rounded off with No Balls Bingo on Sunday and another show hosted by Miss Diamonte.

A spokesman for the bar said: “Thank you to everyone who joined in our Pride celebrations.

“Special thanks to the amazing bar staff.

“Then we have all those who entered into our Star for a Night – Bobbie Tucker, Mikey, Queen Michelle, Venus Guytrap and Gillian Cooper you are all stars! Well done to Venus who came away with the prize money, she smashed it.
