Residents and visitors in Inverness are able to enjoy a luxury takeaway from a new mobile catering unit.

BlackBX, which was launched at the beginning of June, is the latest addition to the Highland capital’s food and drink scene.

The unit is located in Great Glen Way, just off Torvean Caravan Park, at the Caledonian Canal.

A spokesman said: “We serve up a range of vegan and full dairy ice creams, steak frites, steak sandwiches, vegan sandwiches, fresh coffee, homemade beef and chicken burgers, savoury and sweet waffles and specials too.”

The catering unit is open daily from 8am-8pm and he added: “Things have come from strength to strength and we are always looking at new ideas and concepts and how we can offer something different to other things out there.”
