Lucy Harding of Nairn Connects BID said: “We had an amazing day at Wheels of Nairn and from seeing all the smiling faces around the Links, it seems everyone else did too. Nairn BID stages three keys events a year with the purpose of driving footfall to the town and Wheels of Nairn certainly does this.

“We had people coming from all over. Wheels of Nairn is now in its fourth year and each year we have built on the feedback from the businesses, spectators, and entrants.

The overall winner was George Sutherland with his Jaguar XK140, and winners were announced for the other 15 individual categories.

Ms Harding added: “Huge congratulations to all the category winners and of course to George Sutherland who won Best in Show and thanks to Nairn Car Sales our title sponsor, other supporters and all the volunteers. The event really is a success due to the tremendous amount of teamwork and support we get.”

Dean Clark of Nairn Car Sales, the show’s sponsor, said: “Nairn Car Sales was once again delighted to support Wheels of Nairn which is now in its fourth year.

“It’s an important event for the town and it is great that Nairn BID has been able to run it and grow it year on year.

“Our team had a great day out and it was phenomenal seeing so many amazing cars. It was a fantastic day and great to speak with so many car enthusiasts and chat to both locals and visitors alike.”
