The funeral of a dedicated Inverness businessman, who died suddenly in his workplace on May 11, was held earlier today.

A funeral cortège for 47-year-old Scott Dunn passed by his former workplace at The Whisky Shop, where he had worked for more than 20 years.

The procession moved from Castle Street at 1pm past The Whisky Shop on Bridge Street before driving over Ness Bridge.

Mr Dunn was laid to rest at Kilvean Cemetery.

Dozens of people outside the shop, and on the bridge, stopped to pay respects to Mr Dunn, described as a "gentleman who was always there to help others."

A floral tribute in the hearse read simply "Dad".
