Highland mystery photos: Do you recognise anyone in our latest Picture Detective images?
Are you in our latest mystery photos from a snowy Inverness city centre, or do you know anyone who is?
If so, you can become a Picture Detective in this regular feature, which is run in conjunction with High Life Highland.
Am Baile (www.ambaile.org.uk) is the leading Highland history and culture website.
On the site there are photos, short films and audio recordings, as well as maps, rare books and archive documents.
Its material covers aspects of Highland life from the 1800s right up until the present day, and the site is bilingual with information presented in both English and Gaelic.
But it also holds hundreds of photos which have left its researchers puzzled as there are no captions or other details for them.
Today’s snaps belong to the J Thomson Collection, Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, High Life Highland, which has been digitised and permission has been given to publish it.
If you know the people in any of these pictures, email newsdesk@hnmedia.co.uk or write to The Inverness Courier, Suite 3rd Floor, 1-5 Church Street, Inverness, IV1 1DY.
