Peat & DIesel’s Black Isle Belter music festival to return in 2025; tickets for the event at the Black Isle Showground near Muir of Ord go on sale Friday
Top Scottish band Peat & Diesel's foray into running their own music festival will continue after they confirmed its return “even bigger and better” for a second year.
The band's Black Isle Belter, which was held on the Black Isle Showground back in the summer, proved a roaring success - with around 10,000 music fans attending over the course of the two days.
And that popularity looks to have guaranteed a return after Black Isle Belter 2025 was confirmed online.
All going well, next year's Belter will take place at the Showground on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4 - and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.
Confirming the news on their website, the three-piece band - Calum “Boydie” MacLeod, Innes Scott and Uilly Macleod - said: “Get your horses saddled, it's back, the second edition of our Black Isle Belter!
“After an incredible first event this year, we’re thrilled to do it all again, just this time it’s going to be even bigger and better.”
The first day of the Stornoway band’s festival will be geared towards over 16s, with the Sunday operating at a Family Fun Day.
Peat & Diesel will be the star act, but "very special guests" are being promised "across both days".
