A section of the A96 between Inverness and Nairn is closed due to a crash.
UPDATE: Road reopen after 4½ hours closure for one vehicle incident
Traffic Scotland says: “The A96 is closed in both directions at Newton of Petty due to a road traffic collision.
“Road users are advised to use an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey.”
The incident was first reported by Traffic Scotland at 2.47am today.
