Woodland Creatures' Culduthel Woods show postponed from Saturday – new dates will be announced

Sadly, two planned performances of family show Woodland Creatures at Culloden Woods – and Culduthel Woods tomorrow – have had to be postponed. Sunday's show at Craig Dunain Duck Pond will go ahead, but had just one ticket left at the time of writing.

Producer of Woodland Creatures Cameron Mowat explained: "We have to follow Government guidelines which means we have had to postpone these two shows, although we have dates left at the end of the tour which we had asked the cast to keep free, which we felt was a practical way of dealing with these Covid times. So we are hoping to reschedule those two postponed dates."

The director of Woodland Creatures – which was created to cater for families with children aged two to eight – said the show had been selling out and was proving an exciting prospect for families with early years children.

The show has been touring across 12 woodland areas in Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands since August 27.

The company, Frozen Charlotte, wanted with Woodland Creatures to "bring audiences out of lockdown hibernation by connecting children with the nature on their doorsteps".

Eden Court which has been handling ticket sales had contacted those booked up for the Culduthel date asking if people wanted to be added to the waiting list if any tickets become available for Craig Dunain Duck Pond on Sunday.
