Crash on A832 Fortrose to Tore road near B9161 junction at Munlochy; one person taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following collision between car and lorry confirms Police Scotland

A person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the Black Isle on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash involved a lorry and car on the A832 Tore to Fortrose road shortly after 11am.

The incident occurred close to the road's junction with the B9161 at Munlochy.

Police, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service crews and the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11am on Saturday, November 16 we were called to a collision involving a lorry and a car on the A832 at Munlochy.

"Emergency services attended and the driver of the car was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

"Recovery has been arranged."
