Occupants escape injury after 3 car crash on the Black Isle on the A835 near Tore between Dingwall and Inverness

Occupants of three cars escaped injury last night after a crash on the Black Isle.

Emergency services attended the scene on the A835 near Tore, with the road blocked and diversions set in place for two-and-a-half hours.

One of the drivers was issued with a fixed penalty fine by police.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 6.10pm on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024, police received a report of a three-car crash on the A835 near Tore.

“One driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice and the road was cleared around 8.45pm.”
