A number of ScotRail services are affected today and tomorrow.

ScotRail have cancelled two north services this morning and warned of two cancellations planned for the Highlands tomorrow.

The rail operator is blaming staff shortages for the failure of the 07:18 Inverness-Elgin service to run today.

A shortage of train crew is also being blamed for cancellation of this evening’s 18:31 Inverness to Wick service.

Tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) 12:34 Wick to Inverness and 18:31 Inverness to Wick services have also been cancelled for the same reason.

A ScotRail spokesman apologised to customers for inconvenience caused and said replacement buses had been requested to cover the Far North Line services affected.
