The Inverness City Centre Business Awards, sponsored by the Inverness Courier, are back for 2024.

Inverness BID is inviting you to nominate your favourite city centre businesses. Whether it's your go-to eatery, a beloved retailer, an outstanding service or a hard-working charity that consistently goes the extra mile, now is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve.

Nominations open on Friday, October 4, and everyone who votes will be entered into the prize draw to have a chance to win a £100 Inverness City Centre Gift Card.

Nominations close at midnight on Sunday, October 13, when the shortlist of finalists will be announced, and the public will once again be able to vote for the winners.

Craig Duncan, co-chairman of Inverness BID, said: "These awards are a unique celebration of the hard work and dedication which help to make Inverness city centre a great place to live, work and visit.

“What makes them special is that the public – the people who are the most important to our business community get to decide both the nominees and the winners.”

Colin Craig, co-chairman of Inverness BID added: "It’s easy to get involved. Just scan the QR code or click on the link on the news section of the BID website to cast your votes.

“Businesses very much appreciate everyone who takes the time to get involved and this year’s winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony to be held at the Drumossie Hotel on November 14.”

Lorna Reynolds of Colin Campbell Jewellers, Winner of the Independent Retailer of the Year Award in 2023 explained: “Winning meant so much to us because it came from the people we work hard to serve every day.

“Displaying our award in the shop has proven to be a real talking point this past year. Daily comments of 'well deserved' and 'well done' from our lovely customers, old and new, have been a pleasing reminder to our team that great customer service is recognised and appreciated which can be particularly rewarding after a busy day!”
