No new confirmed coronavirus cases in NHS Highland area in past 24 hours

THE NHS Highland area has recorded no new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

It means the number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in the health board area since the start of the pandemic remains at 383.

There were 31 positive tests recorded across Scotland in the past 24 hours, taking the national figure to 18,676.

Of these new cases, 23 were in the NHS Grampian area taking its tally to 1470.

Scottish Government said there were no new reported deaths of people who have tested positive for the virus in Scotland.
