No more surprise fees for Eden Court Theatre
AN Inverness theatre and cinema is aiming for greater transparency as they bring a sought-after change to their booking system.
Eden Court in Inverness will now show booking fees as part of the ticket price on their website to address the frustration from ticket buyers who saw the additional fee added only at the last stage of online purchase.
Chief Executive, James Mackenzie-Blackman said in a statement online: "Patrons tell us that they want the price of their tickets to be the price you pay. You don't like the added surprise of seeing the booking fees when you proceed to your shopping basket online, or when you're booking your tickets over the phone or in person.
"That's why, for all new shows put on sale from today, booking fees will be rolled into the price of your ticket."
A free information event on booking fees will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 5pm and seats can be reserved on the theatre's website.
