THE annual review of NHS Highland has been prostponed until the spring.

NHS Highland and the Scottish Government agreed on the postponement "in light of the recent change of executive leadership".

The review had been expected to take place on February 18, but will now take place at a time that "will be announced in due course".

"NHS Highland wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused," said a spokeswoman for the health organisation.
