Team members Dr Catherine Brown and Stuart Abel, advanced practitioner in critical care collected the award on behalf of the whole team.

Katherine Sutton, chief officer acute, NHS Highland said: “We would like to congratulate PICT on their award. It’s a fantastic achievement for the whole team. "We look forward to working closely with them as we look at the best ways to deliver emergency services provision across the health board.

“We would also like to congratulate all this year’s Highland Heroes nominees and winners.”

Dr Catherine Brown, NHS Highland and PICT, said: “It’s excellent to have won this award in a close category with so many worthy winners. This award reflects the PICT team’s hard work and dedication in helping people across the Highlands.”
