NHS Highland vaccination centre is back in action

NHS Highland this morning re-opened its vaccination clinic at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness following yesterday's flooding of the premises.

The problem led to all afternoon appointments being cancelled.

An NHS Highland spokeswoman urged those who had missed booster jabs to attend as a drop-in client today, tomorrow or next week.

She said: “The vaccination centre opened again this morning after very localised flooding.

“If we had to cancel your appointment yesterday you can drop in anytime during the rest of this week or next.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."
