A new initiative will launch in Inverness aimed at ending period poverty.

Morrisons Inverness Community Champions has posted about it via its Facebook page.

The post stated that it will be available in store from the start of next week and added: "If you’re in need or struggling for sanitary products, you can head to our Customer Service Kiosk at any of our stores and ask for a package that Sandy has left for you. Our colleague will then give you a discreet envelope with what you need, for free, no questions asked. Let’s end period poverty."
