New drive by Inverness police to improve safety for children in cars

POLICE have been focused on promote in-car safety for children this week.
Officer have been working in partnership with Good Egg Safety, while educating parents on the importance of correctly fitted child seats.
A force spokesman said: "Officers from our road policing unit worked with representatives from Good Egg Safety in Inverness today to offer drivers advice and safety checks with regards to child car seats.
"A number of drivers were given advice in relation to child seatbelt restraint and security.
"More information and advice for driver's who are accompanied by passengers aged 0-12 years old can be found at www.goodeggcarsafety.com"
