Secret Golf's Diane Knox is a new columnist for Inverness Courier from her base in Florida

The Inverness Courier is going international with the addition of new columnist Diane Knox.

Born and bred in the Highland capital, Diane moved to Florida in 2016 after spending several years hosting the afternoon show on MFR.

The former Culloden Academy pupil's new weekly column – An Invernessian in America – makes its debut in this Friday's edition of the Courier.

Diane is an award-winning radio, TV and podcast personality who started her career in media in 2004.

Her accolades include Arqiva radio presenter of the year in 2010 while working at MFR.

She relocated to the United States and started work as a host and content producer for Secret Golf which has included hosting The Tour Report show and podcast, and managing the network’s social media platforms.

In addition to her work with Secret Golf, she has covered The Open Championship multiple times for BBC 5Live and works as on-air talent for the PGA Tour’s highlight show as needed.

Diane is also a member of the content team for golf technology company Foresight Sports and assists in the production of content for use across the organisation’s digital platforms.

In her free time, Diane enjoys working out, spending time with her family, and being a dog mum to her beloved Bulldogs Bowser and (Charles) Barkley! Follow Diane on Twitter and Instagram.
