The luxury Ness Walk Hotel in Inverness has announced it will be closed for 30 days as a result of the coronavirus emergency.

Managers posted a notice on Twitter today highlighting the closure of the five-star hotel, but stressed they had not experienced any case of Covid-19 at any of their properties.

The announcement stressed the priority was to ensure the health and wellbeing of guests and associates.

The 30-day closure is with immediate effect.

The situation will be reviewed before reopening.
