Nairn pianist can’t wait for Belladrum after album launch in Inverness

A talented Nairn pianist is looking forward to sharing her own music at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival next week following the successful launch of her debut album.

Kenna Ross, who has been the member of a number of bands over the past decade, is now fronting her own group.

She launched her album titled In The Moment, an instrumental record, at Eden Court’s Under Canvas on Sunday.

“It was a great day for my album launch,” said the 27-year-old from Nairn.

“It’s always such a lovely atmosphere at Under Canvas but having friends and family there to support me was very special.

“I felt very lucky having such a great band of musicians up on stage with me to create the album live, the sun even came out!

“Now I can’t wait to play with them again at Belladrum.”
