The Local Place Plan for Nairn is set to be published tomorrow, it has been announced.
After several months of consultation and work with the communities in Nairnshire, the Local Place Plan (LPP) steering group will be launching the plan for statury and public consultation at 12pm on Thursday, July 18.
People in Nairnshire will then be available to review and comment the plan for 28 days to allow the the final edition to be published and submitted to The Highland Council by September 27.
LPP Project Coordinator Kenny Spink said: “To be only a few hours away from publishing the draft Local Place Plan for consultation is an incredibly exciting moment for Nairnshire.
“The Local Place Plan creates an opportunity to pave the way for the future of where we all call home.
“None of this would have been possible without the detailed input from everyone who has contributed to the Local Place Plan in whatever way, nor without the support of those volunteers who have worked tirelessly to create opportunities for you to express your opinions, to gather those all up, to assess and to prepare the report.
“We look forward to pressing the launch button tomorrow and to hearing your thoughts and feedback in the coming weeks.”
