Nairn car theft sparks police appeal





Police officers in Nairn are investigating a car theft that occurred last weekend in the town centre.

A White Kia (registration SY15 XFE) was stolen from from Chatten Drive near the train station between 8pm on Sunday, March 2 and 8am on Monday, March 3.

The car was eventually found on the B9091 near Balnaspirach with accident damage.

This prompted an appeal for any dash cam footage of the vehicle being driven or any witnesses to the theft.

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or report anonymously to Crimestoppers calling 0800 555 111.
