Zendaya, Spider-man star, spotted at Miele’s Gelateria in Inverness
Spider-man and Euphoria star Zendaya treated herself in Inverness last night at one of the city’s most popular businesses.
She visited Miele’s Gelateria, in Church Street, and seemed to enjoy a sweet treat from its range.
She was served by teenager Joss Tanico, who allowed Zendaya to try a few flavours before she bought a three-scoop tub of mint, butterscotch, stracciatella with Nutella sauce.
"I saw her walk in and my jaw dropped," said the 16-year-old, who has just been promoted from a junior team member to team member after working for the firm for just over a year.
"I've been watching her since I was seven!"
The Inverness Royal Academy said she was there with a friend and her bodyguard, and admitted it was a little bit nerve-racking.
"I wasn't expecting that after a busy weekend for her to come in on a quiet Monday night," Joss said. "She was very sweet.”
Zendaya and Tom Holland have been spotted around Inverness city centre over the past few days, as well as Moray coast line.
The couple are both cast in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey - which also stars Matt Damon.
It is understood the pair will be in Glasgow filming a new Spider-Man film later this year.
