Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist RuMac coming to MacMoray Festival in Elgin





An accordion player who stole the hearts of many in the Highlands en route to a semi-final place in Britain’s Got Talent is coming to MacMoray.

RuMac, who comes from Ullapool, reached the semi-final of the talent contest just last month.

MacMoray Festival is due to take place at Elgin’s Cooper Park across the weekend of May 2-3, 2026.

RuMac - full name Ruairidh Maclean - will perform at the event on Saturday, May 2, along with Punk Rock Factory and George Bowie.

Cammy Barnes, 2 Unlimited and East 17 are performing on the Sunday.
