Small businesses have been told not to panic in the face of the coronavirus pandemic by MSP Kate Forbes.
The Dingwall-based MSP for for Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch has said her email inbox is inundated with people worrying about the short deadline for applications to the non-domestic rate grants scheme for those affected by coronavirus shut downs.
In a tweet, Ms Forbes, who is the Scottish Finance Secretary, said: "A lot of people panicking in my inbox about the deadline for business support grants being tomorrow – it’s not, it’s 31 March 2021, next year."
