Motorcyclist forced off the road on the A832 at Rosehaugh by an oncoming car vehicle; Police Scotland launch appeal for Black Isle witnesses to come forward

POLICE in Dingwall are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was forced off the road on the Black Isle.

According to road policing officers in the town the rider was forced to leave the A832 at Rosehaugh due to an oncoming vehicle which was overtaking in to his path.

The incident was around 5pm on Saturday and the motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and his vehicle was damaged as a result of the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said a number of other vehicles were in the area at the time and that officers were looking for any information about the car involved in the incident which was heading towards Avoch.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2841 of 18 January.
