A9 crash near Alness in Kildary, Easter Ross, sees motorcyclist hospitalised at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
A 26-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital in serious condition after a road crash on the A9 in Easter Ross last night — with the road remaining closed for around eight hours.
Police are appealing for information after a two-vehicle crash occurred at around 8.30pm yesterday (Sunday, September 21) at Kildary, near Alness.

The incident involved a black BMW 3 series and an orange Keeway TX 125 motorbike.
The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where his condition is described as serious, Police Scotland has confirmed, whereas the driver of the car did not require treatment.

Sergeant Scott MacDonald said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
