Day six of UHI lecturer strikes.

UHI lecturers are on strike again today (Thurs) on day six of action over what they claim is an unfair pay proposal.

The college staff - members of the EIS Further Education Lecturers' Association (EIS-FELA) union - are fighting for increased pay due to the pressures of the pandemic and a perceived inbalance between management salaries and their own.

They have been picketing outside the Inverness campus for several days in the last few months in support of their cause.
