Monster hunt: Thousands pledge to join one-day search at Loch Ness

THOUSANDS of people are planning to descend on Loch Ness this September in a bid to find its most famous resident.

A mass event named Storm Loch Ness, Nessie can't hide from us all has is being organised for September 21 and has been publicised on Facebook.

Some 18,000 people have indicated they will be going, while another 38,000 have expressed an interest.

It has been set up by Bryan Richards, who lives in California.
