Cash and cigarettes have been stolen from a petrol station in Fort Augustus.

Police are appealing for information following the break-in shortly before 4am on Saturday.

Detective Constable David Rennie said: "We would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles around the property during the early hours of Saturday to come forward.

"Anyone who may have been passing on the A82 around the time is asked to review any dashcam footage they may have and pass on anything of note to us.

"Anyone who believes they may have information is asked to call 101, quoting reference NN5668/19, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
