Missing woman ‘last seen boarding Inverness-bound bus’, say Police Scotland officers

Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing woman who was last seen boarding a bus bound for Inverness.

Georgina Letelier (26) was last seen at around 6am on Thursday in the Constitution Street area of Aberdeen.

Subsequent police enquiries revealed she boarded a bus at Aberdeen bus station that was heading for Inverness - although it is not known where she got off.

Appealing for information about her whereabouts, a police spokesperson said: “[She boarded] a bus bound for Inverness, however, her movements thereafter are currently unknown and there are a number of stops upon the route.

“Police Scotland are concerned for Georgina’s welfare and are requesting if she is seen to be contacted as a matter of urgency quoting ‘incident reference PS-20250515-3975’.

“We further appeal to any person(s) who may have been onboard the Inverness bound bus from Aberdeen about 7am on Thursday, May 15 to get in touch on the above incident number.”
