Inverness man living in supported accommodation was injured in flat as he was dragged from his bedroom and attacked by two other residents – he sustained a black eye and several scratches during the assault against him
A man living in supported accommodation in Inverness was dragged out of his bedroom and assaulted by two fellow residents, a court has been told.
The victim was pushed and pulled by 31-year-old Daniel McCafferty and 35-year-old Jonathan Sinclair in such a narrow space that he sustained a black eye and several scratches during the assault against him.
McCafferty, of Galloway Drive, and Sinclair, of Telford Road, both admitted a charge of committing assault to injury at a property in Baron Taylor’s Street in the city centre on March 21 last year.
Sentence was deferred on McCafferty until July 29 when he has other matters calling at Inverness Sheriff Court.
Sentence was also deferred on Sinclair until August 12 for the purpose of obtaining a background report.
