A man is set to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in a city neighbourhood.

Police Scotland confirmed that a 48-year-old man has been apprehended following an incident on Friday May 6 at Kintail Court, Hilton, where a vehicle struck a pedestrian.

Police said nobody was seriously injured and the man would appear at the city's sheriff court today.
