A BROTHER who assaulted his sister has been given unpaid work.

Sean Clark (48) of Urchal Park, Smithton, was found guilty by a jury at Inverness Sheriff Court last month.

On August 9 last year, at Clark’s home address, he seized his sister’s body, pinned her to the ground and placed his hands around her neck, applying pressure, all to her injury.

Sheriff David Harvie ordered him to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within four months.
