A 30-year-old Inverness man was jailed for 14 days after admitting breaching his bail and possessing a small amount of cocaine.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard today (Friday) that Gary Peden, of Anderson Street, had been ordered to stay away from his home address following an alleged domestic matter.

But police found him hiding under insulation in the loft on June 21, fiscal depute Niall Macdonald told the court.

While being processed at Burnett Road Police Station, a small amount of the class A narcotic was found in his jacket pocket.
