Man arrested in Inverness after Police Scotland called to disturbance on Telford Road

A 25-year-old man was arrested this morning after police were called to an incident in Inverness city centre.

The incident took place on Telford Road and resulted in a woman being taken to hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a disturbance on Telford Road, Inverness, around 8.40am on Wednesday, June 22.

"A 30-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to hospital.

"A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident."

They confirmed that the incident was domestic in nature and did not involve wider risk to the public.
