Man due in court after theft of cars in Inverness

A 27-year-old man from Dundee is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today following the theft of cars from a city dealership.

Two cars were taken from Top Car in Harbour Road, Inverness on July 2.

It came after vehicles were take from the Culloden Car Sales dealership and police investigations are ongoing.

Detective Inspector Eddie Ross said: "We are grateful to everyone who has assisted with this investigation.

"Further enquiries remain ongoing in relation to the incident and also the theft of motor vehicles from Culloden Car Sales.

"We would encourage anyone with information regarding these incidents or the movements of a lime green Ford Focus RS to contact police."
