Aldi Inverness had booze and charity collection tin taken; man charged at sheriff court

A 24-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with breaking into an Aldi supermarket.
It is claimed he stole alcohol and a charity collection tin from the store at Friars Bridge, Inverness on December 20.

Matthew Bell, from Inverness, made no plea at Inverness Sheriff Court and was committed for further examination. His lawyer, David Patterson made no application for bail.
Bell will re-appear within the next eight days.
